Terressa Burtner

Terressa Burtner began dancing at Cole Academy when she was 12 years old and traveled across the country competing in numerous regional and national dance competitions. As a senior company member she won the Tremaine National Dance Scholarship and the Delaware County Junior Miss Talent Scholarship. Terressa went on to major in Dance at Ball State University, where she was a recipient of a Dance Performance Scholarship, and performed in Ball State Dance Theatre productions, Works in Motion, the Festival of Word and Dance, and many student choreography shows. Her senior choreography piece was showcased at the American Collegiate Dance Festival in St. Louis, Missouri; and she was the choreographer for a “Two-Character Play” which was written exclusively for Ball State and featured in an Introduction to Theatre textbook. For the past 9 years Terressa has been a part of the Muncie Community Christmas Sing in which she currently serves as the Creative Arts Coordinator, and choreographs for Muncie area theatre and choir programs. Terressa has been an award-winning dance choreographer and instructor at Cole Academy since 2007 and she is very excited about her new role as Account Manager/Executive Assistant/Marketing Director.
