Mandee Carroll started gymnastics at Cole Academy when she was 3 years old. She continued as a Cole recreational gymnast until she was invited to be a Cole Twister. She competed as a Twister for several years, competing up to level 7. Mandee will tell you that nearly all of her best childhood memories include time spent in the gym with Twister teammates, gymnastics competitions, and recital performances. During high school, she took a break from club gymnastics, and instead competed for Delta High School’s gymnastics team. In 2007, she was hired as a competitive and recreational coach here at Cole Academy, where she spent several years as the Twisters Head Coach before moving to Kokomo, IN to complete her Health Sciences undergraduate degree and her Master of Public Management degree. Inspiring a love for sport in kids, building strong athletes, and creating a quality gymnastics program have always been the definition of Mandee’s “dream job.” Cole Academy has forever held a special place in Mandee’s heart, and she is beyond thrilled to be able to return to her home gym and take on her new role as Gymnastics Director!
